On September 17th, our Table for Ten guests were swept away to the beautiful Willamette Valley, where perched atop the Dundee Hills is the breathtaking Red Ridge Farms. Our theme, Harvesting Ideas, was influenced by the location and incorporated into the night’s storytelling. In 1973, the Durant family was one of the first in Oregon to grow wine grapes, and in 2004, they became the pioneers of Oregon Olive Oil, dedicating 17 acres to olive trees on the family’s 120 acres.

Our guests were transported to the farm in style by way of a sleek Mercedes Sprinter, courtesy of Lucky Limousine. After a scenic drive, our guests arrived at Red Ridge Farm and Durant Vineyard, where they were ushered to the olive mill and tasting room. There they received a first-hand olive oil tasting lesson by Red Ridge Farm owner, Paul Durant.

Dinner was served outdoors as we soaked in the sunset with a view of the olive grove and vineyard. Bent Brick served up a thoughtful feast incorporating the rich Oregon Olive Oil into each of our four courses, including the handcrafted Red Ridge cocktail - made with Apero Fig vinegar and Arbequina extra virgin olive oil. Commonwealth Rentals provided rustic furnishings and place settings to seamlessly blend into the countryside.

Stories were told, ideas were shared, and friendships were harvested. After a night of laughter under the stars, Lucky Limousine safely whisked our guests back to Portland.

Thank you to the Durant family for being our wonderful host at Red Ridge Farm, our long term partners at Commonwealth Rentals and Bent Brick, and to our new friends at Lucky Limousine.
